Makerspace Challenge and Maker Faire!

Here are two invitations from the Makerspace team.

Makerspace Challenge : Ready? Set! Create the Makerspace sign!

The Faculty of Engineering is inviting all interested students to participate in the first Makerspace challenge: create the Makerspace sign.

The challenge: to design and build a creative sign for the Makerspace that can be visible from outside its location – CBY B109D. There are no limits to your creativity and innovation! The only constraint is that you need to use technologies available at the Makerspace. The more technologies you use, the better.

Participants will be invited to present their final product to a panel of judges on Friday November 14th. $600 in awards will be handed out.

If you are interested, please register by e-mail to makerspace@uOttawa.ca.
