UOttawa Engineering gets a Maker Space

I got to check out the Faculty’s brand new Maker Spacer yesterday.  Literally, a place for people to make stuff.  They have 3D printers, CNC mills, handibots, arduino’s… Mostly I was interested in the 3D printers because I have some grad students that can use those and also the product design class in the winter will make good use of it.  Anyways, it was pretty cool to see the new space humming with energy and to get a tour.  For more info, see their website.
